Village head shot dead by bike-borne assailants

A village pradhan (head) was shot dead by motorcycle-borne assailants here today, police said.

Ram Kumar Shisodiya (35), head of Bindupur village under Hathras Junction police station area, was shot dead by the assailants who managed to flee, said Circle Officer (CO) Priti Singh.

Investigations are on and a hunt has been launched to nab the culprits, the CO added.
