The villages in Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Cuddalore, and Pudukottai districts passed resolutions at their grama sabha meetings yesterday against the proposed zone, P R Pandiyan, co-ordinator of Tamil Nadu Farmers Association committee said in a release.
