Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Vir Bhadra Singh will be the guest of honour at the opening of fifth edition of Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF).
According to the festival director Ritu Sarin "noted film personalities like Naseeruddin Shah and Saeed Mirza will take part in a conversation with filmmaker on the last day of festival."
DIFF is scheduled to happen from November 3 to 6 and a total of 46 films will be screened during the festival.
The movies to be screened include 27 feature, 15 short and 4 children.
"The films were chosen from around 900 entries and the process was started in June this year. Festival shall also have 4 video installations, 1 master class, 2 conversations, 2 panel discussions and few community outreach events," said Tenzin Sonan, who is also one of the directors of the festival.
This year the spotlight will be on Himachali Films.
