Mustardseed prices drifted lower by Rs 15 to Rs 4,534 per quintal in futures trading today following offloading of positions by traders, tracking a weak trend at the physical markets.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, mustardseed for delivery in November fell by Rs 15 or 0.33 per cent to Rs 4,534 per quintal, with an open interest of 44,680 lots.
Also, delivery in December eased by Rs 11 or 0.24 per cent to Rs 4,540 per quintal, having an open interest of 25,520 lots.

Marketmen said offloading of positions by players at higher levels coupled with muted demand at the spot markets, mainly kept pressure on mustardseed prices at the futures trade here.
Besides, fall in other edible oils prices too weighed on trading sentiments, they added.
