WB Chief Secretary discharged from hospital

West Bengal Chief Secretary Sanjay Mitra, who was admitted to the state-run SSKM hospital after falling ill, was discharged today.
Mitra had fallen sick following a sudden rise in his blood pressure level during a programme of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and taken to the hospital last night.
"Mr Mitra is now stable and discharged from the hospital," Director of the IPGMER and SSKM Hospital Dr Manju Banerjee told PTI.
The Chief Minister had visited the hospital last evening to inquire about Mitra's condition.
