A woman allegedly committed suicide with her five-month-old daughter at the Kokhraj area here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when Seema (35) immolated herself alongwith her daughter, they said.
They were rushed to a hospital where doctors declared them dead, they said, adding the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
A probe is on in the matter and police are trying to ascertain the reasons behind the woman taking the drastic step.
