A woman has alleged that she was raped by her landlord when her husband and children were not home here today, police said.
She has lodged an FIR at Ecotech 3 police station.
The woman has been living with her husband and children at the rented room.
The incident took place this morning when she was alone at home. Her husband has gone out for some work and children were playing outside.
The landlord allegedly entered the house and gave her cold drink laced with sedatives, drinking which she fell unconscious.
The landlord then raped her, the woman wrote in her complaint.
Police officer Rakesh Kumar said a forensic team has collected samples from the room and the woman has been sent for medical examination.
