Youth assaulted by four, robbed of Rs 5,000

A youth was allegedly robbed of Rs 5,000 and assaulted by four persons in Jasrathpur area here.

Tirri Singh was attacked by a group of four persons at the crossing of village Mohanpura in Kotwali Jasrathpur yesterday, police said, adding that the youth was robbed of Rs 5,000 by the assailants.

The injured youth has been admitted in a hospital.

As per the complaint filed by the victim's father, an FIR has been registered against one Pushpendra and three others, police said.
