Youth kills alcoholic father

A 49-year-old man was killed

allegedly by his son over his drinking habit at Sikar district here, police said today.

Balbeer was hit by an axe by his 22-year-old son yesterday after a verbal argument broke out between the two over the former's drinking habit, Mustak Khan, SHO, Losal police station said.

The accused dumped the body near a well in Losal area after the crime, he added.

The body was recovered from the spot with the information provided by the village head, police said, adding that the body has been sent for postmortem.

The accused have been arrested and further probe is on in the matter, police said.
