The wholesale debt market at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) clocked trades worth Rs 881.23 crore yesterday as against the previous days all time high volume of Rs 1,831.27 crore.
Of this, the corporate debenture accounted to Rs 682.13 lakh on the bourse yesterday.

In the government securities segment 87 trades were reported, while in the corporate debenture segment 608 trades were recorded.
The inter-bank call rate opened in the range of 7.25 per cent to 7.75 per cent and raised to 8.75-9 per cent levels during the day.
The newly issued 11.19 per cent government loan was traded for Rs 180 crore at a weighted yield of 11.09 per cent.
There is yet a lot of buying interest in the market on account of the auction of the eight-year government loan, said a dealer.
The 12.59 per cent government security maturing in 2004 was traded for Rs 125 crore at a weighted yield of 11.06 per cent.
The 10.85 per cent paper maturing in 2001 was traded for Rs 215 crore at a weighted yield of 10.63 per cent.
The 364-days treasury bill maturing in April 24, 1998 was actively traded for Rs 49.25 crore at a weighted yield of eight per cent.
