Telelogic in pact with Carnegie Mellon

Telelogic, a provider of software solutions, on Tuesday announced collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University's Institute for Software Research International (ISRI) to deliver a new programme of training with certification in enterprise architecture (EA).

The programme, developed by ISRI, consists of a series of three courses for beginning, mid-level, and senior enterprise architects, to be offered in cooperation between Telelogic and ISRI in the US and around the world.

The programme addresses the challenges and benefits of enterprise architecture and provides participants with a practical approach to successfully implement and use EA within their organisations.

The courses were designed from a careful analysis of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed by enterprise architects working at different levels of organisations. The courses will be taught by seasoned professionals from Telelogic and ISRI.

John Grasso, director of strategic development and distance learning in ISRI at Carnegie Mellon, said "ISRI has offered executive and professional education and training in Enterprise Architecture to domestic and international audiences, in the classroom, and through eLearning.
