Gulshan Polyols to set up onsite PCC plant at Orient Paper site in MP

Gulshan Polyols Limited, one of the leading manufacturers of PCC and Sorbitol in India, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Orient Paper and Industries Ltd (OPIL), a part of C K Birla Group, to set up an onsite precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) plant for making writing paper in OPIL’s paper mill located at Amlai, District Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh.
 
This is the sixth onsite plant set up by Gulshan Polyols for supply of specialty PCC/wet ground calcium carbonate (WGCC) suitable for paper industry. Gulshan Polyols has already established onsite PCC projects at DSG Papers in Punjab, ITC Limited (Paper Division) in West Bengal, two onsite plants in Bangladesh, and Orient Paper and Industries Ltd in Madhya Pradesh.
