Strides Shasun buys Moberg Pharma's PediaCare brand for $ 5 mn
With this acquisition, the company has strengthen its consumer healthcare portfolio

Strides Arcolab International Ltd, the UK-based wholly-owned subsidiary of Strides Shasun Ltd, has entered into an agreement with Swedish firm Moberg Pharma to acquire the PediaCare brand for a total consideration of $ 5 million.
PediaCare is an established paediatric cough, cold and allergy brand with annual sales of approximately $ 6 million. PediaCare will form an important part of Strides expanding consumer health care portfolio and brings with it expertise in the paediatric segment as well as a strong brand name with global potential.
The Bengaluru-headquartered Strides Shasun Ltd has global manufacturing foot print with 13 production facilities spread across three continents including 5 US FDA approved facilities and 8 facilities for the emerging markets. The company has three dedicated R&D facilities in India with global filing capabilities and a strong commercial footprint across 85 countries.
