These days short-form videos are making noise all over the world. They are great for Social media platforms as people prefer scrolling through platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat fast and have limited time. Due to their greater retention rates, these short videos are more likely to keep viewers' attention for a more extended period of time. Currently, this type of content is being used extensively by content marketers because it's a quicker way to share a message with an audience and can be created with ease too. In the past few years, many short video applications have gained popularity in the market, and one of them is Sharara, powered by Techjet.

What is Sharara all about?

Over 18 million people use the short video platform Sharara, which works under the tagline 'Create, Share, Connect'. Members of their community are known as 'Shararatis', and there is no age barrier; all users are welcomed with open arms. They are also given the opportunity to demonstrate their incredible potential. The platform provides each content creator with every possible opportunity, and because it is a popular platform thus, the content uploaded there reaches the intended audiences quickly. The portal also offers advice and pointers from subject-matter specialists to assist newbies in creating original content. By enabling users to grab the opportunity of becoming content creators, Sharara also provides income prospects for a select of them whose work distinguishes out from the rest.

What makes Sharara one of its kind?

Team Sharara strives to give its users nothing but excellence. Therefore, they offer several workshops to artists all across the nation where they assist them in developing a variety of skills. They instruct them in seven different artistic disciplines, such as dance, music, and painting. Sharara has teamed with industry experts, and they help mentor content creators. They offer free seminars, and participants even receive a unique reward at its conclusion. After these workshops, the creators also earn certificates, and Sharara offers extra opportunities, including monetization of content to the ones that stand out from the rest.

The other reason Sharara has an upper hand in the industry is that the team who came up with the application has experience in the field. Early in 2016, team Techjet developed a job search app that offered recommendations to job seekers. Then, in 2017, an EdTech startup app was created that provided comprehensive career counselling to the youth of Maharashtra. Regardless of their level of success, the team was always open to learning new things and embracing current trends. As a result, in 2018, they created an OTT platform that was among the top 3 trending video players. Then finally, in 2019, Techjet developed Sharara- the short-form video application.

According to statistics released by Redsheer, the short video market is expected to grow from 180 million to more than 500 million by the year 2025. To thrive among audiences with an ever-evolving set of demands, Sharara is looking forward to incorporating various technological advancements. Right now, also they offer fantastic tools for creating videos like cool filters, a wide range of songs, the finest camera features, special video and sound editors and even video effects like reverse and slow motion. Now team Sharara is also planning on expanding their horizons even further; thus, they plan on encompassing technologies like Web3, VR and AR. Hence, they are even seeking investors so that they can put forth more diversified opportunities for upcoming creators.
