Meanwhile, Nifty FMCG index of which Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd is a constituent, has dropped around 2.37% in last one month and is currently quoting at 58028.6, down 0.39% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 7.57 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 5.25 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark November futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 3050, up 1.2% on the day. Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd is up 38.05% in last one year as compared to a 19.57% gain in NIFTY and a 9.62% gain in the Nifty FMCG index.

The PE of the stock is 55.9 based on TTM earnings ending September 24.
