Cabinet approves National Population Register 2021

New Delhi, Dec 24 (ANI): Union Cabinet has given approval to the National Population Register (NPR) on December 24. While addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said, "Cabinet has approved the conducting of census of India 2021 and updating of National Population Register. It is self declaration, no document, bio-metric etc required for it."
