Couple beaten up by goons in name of moral policing, 2 held

Maharajganj (Uttar Pradesh), July 20 (ANI): In yet another incident of harassment, a couple was brutally beaten up by some goons in the name of moral policing in Maharajganj of Uttar Pradesh. Both the victims were brutally thrashed with sticks. According to the police official, an objectionable video of the girl was leaked, following which the goons chastised them. A case has been registered in the local police station. Two people involved in the case have been arrested.
