LS polls: PM Modi attacks Congress over failing to curb poverty in past 60 years

Ambedkar Nagar (Uttar Pradesh), May 01 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public rally in Uttar Pradesh's Ambedkar Nagar. He slammed the Congress for failing to remove poverty in past 60 years. He said, "Congress, which gave the slogan of 'Garibi Hatao,' did anything for labours? No poor man wants to see their children poor. No 'chaiwala' thinks that his child will become tea maker in future."
