Nitish Kumar blames climate change for state's present condition

Patna (Bihar), Oct 2 (ANI): Bihar CM Nitish Kumar in an event in Bihar spoke on the flood-situation and said change in climate is the reason for the present condition of Bihar. While speaking at the event, Nitish Kumar said, "The change in climate has led to drought, sudden heavy rainfall and the present condition in Bihar. This year in July, there were flash floods in 12-13 districts. Later, water level in river Ganga rose. Now, sudden heavy rainfall has flooded many areas in Patna."
