Diaspora eyes Modi boosting India-Australia ties

Sydney, Nov 13 (ANI): Expatriate Indians are all set to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will arrive in Australia on November 14. Preparations are also on in full swing for Modi's address in Sydney's Allphones Arena on November 17. Modi is on a three-country visit - Myanmar, Australia and Fiji - to participate in various summits and bilateral meetings. An organiser of Australian Committee Foundation, Balesh Dhankar, said when announcement about Modi's address at Allphones Arena was made, around 21,000 registrations were received within three days. The Allphones Arena has a capacity of only 16, 664 people.
