PM Modi describes train ride between Pentrich and Pietermaritzburg as a pilgrimage

Durban (South Africa), July 09 (ANI): After retracing Mahatma Gandhi's 1893 train journey between South Africa's Pentrich and Pietermaritzburg stations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the experience was similar to a pilgrimage for him as it was the place which transformed young Gandhi's whole life. Recounting the roles of Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, he added that their works will inspire generations to come. The Prime Minister, who is on the second leg of his four-nation tour to the African continent was interacting with media after taking a train ride.
