Antalya, Nov 16 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, to discuss trade issues on the sidelines of G-20 Summit in Turkey. In October, India said the European Union's ban on Indian generic drugs is "unwarranted" and an obstacle to moving trade talks forward. Foreign secretary S Jaishankar said EU restrictions on more than 700 generic drugs were unfair. India and Germany have pledged to revive efforts to reach an Indo-European free trade pact after talks fell apart this year. The European Commission is the executive body of the European Union (EU) responsible for proposing legislation, implementing decisions and upholding the treaties and managing the day-to-day business. The European Council is one of the bicameral EU legislatures, the other being the European Parliament.
