Tax revenue collected by the West Bengal government in the first half of the 2012-13 fiscal has risen by 36 per cent over the previous corresponding period. "Revenue collection in the April-September period this year was Rs 14,176 crore, a rise of 36 per cent over the corresponding period last year. Last year, the figure was Rs 10,428 crore," state finance minister Amit Mitra said here on Monday.
