	In 2014, he became youngest MP in the Lok Sabha at the age of 26.&nbsp; In the 2019, Chautala defeated Prem Lata from the Uchana seat in Assembly polls. She is the wife of veteran leader Birender Singh - former Union Minister.&nbsp;</div>

	<strong>JJP-INDL split:</strong></div>

	JJP was earlier a part of the INLD but split in December 2018 and is headed by Dushyant&#39;s father Ajay Singh Chautala. INLD is headed by OP Chautala, five time former Haryana CM. His son Abhay Singh Chautala is a senior leader of the INLD. OP Chautala&#39;s father was Chaudhary Devi Lal - former dy PM. The split was caused by the infighting among the Chautala family, after which Dushyant and his brother Digvijay were expelled from the party.</div>

	Both parties are trying to live up to the political legacy of Devi Lal but are facing an extinction threat in Haryana. Devi Lal is known as one of the tallest farmer leaders and a key Jat leader in north India. Both parties secured less than 2 per cent vote share in 2024 Lok Sabha elections.</div>
