Researchers also discovered a species named kamagarini, which means 'demon' or 'devil' in Matsigenka - a language spoken in southeastern Peru. One of the characteristic features of the new species D kamagarini are its horn-like protuberances on the upper eyelids. Both the treefrog species were discovered in the Amazon Basin of Peru and Brazil, and had been previously misidentified as another superficially identical species. China has launched a new guided- missile frigate called 'Wuhai', which has stronger anti- submarine capabilities, official media reported today. The Wuhai is the latest member of the Type 056 corvettes family, which is the Chinese PLA (People's Liberation Army) Navy's main fleet for offshore defense, Song Zhongping, a military expert and TV commentator, told the daily. Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today urged his Andhra Pradesh counterpart D Umamaheswara Rao to attend a meeting proposed to be conducted in Hyderabad to discuss modernisation works of Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme (RDS). Karnataka Water Resources Minister MB Patil, during a recent visit to Hyderabad, suggested that a tripartite meeting of the three states be convened to resolve issues and to work out an action plan for the completion of woks by July, 2018, Rao said in a letter to the AP minister.
