Users will have to book a 'Rapido Bike' through the Rapido app, the company's said in a statement. After initiating a pilot project on decongestion in Karol Bagh, the North Delhi Municipal Corporation now plans to expand the scheme to other areas to promote use of public transport and make market areas more pedestrian-friendly. A Malaysian climber rescued in Nepal after two nights in the open on one of the world's most treacherous mountains has died in a Singapore hospital, reports said Friday. Chin Wui Kin, 48, succumbed to his injuries Thursday, Singapore media said, after he was airlifted at the weekend from Nepal's capital Kathmandu where he was initially treated. The mountaineer, a doctor who worked at a hospital in the city-state, had reached the top of the 8,100-metre (26,500-foot) Annapurna on April 23. However, he failed to return to the nearest camp, one kilometre below the peak, with the rest of his group, sparking frantic efforts to find him. His guide had stumbled to the camp and raised the alarm. The revision of the license fees has been long due for the hotel. The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is supposed to renew the licence fee every 33 years as per the licence deed, which is for 99 years. However, the 33-year period for Lalit Hotel had expired in 2014. The five-star hotel currently pays Rs 12 lakh per month as license fees to the civic body. The NDMC had in 2016 decided to review the license fees after after ascertaining the market value of the property and till then it was decided that the hotel authorities will pay Rs 4.4 crore per month. Goa Tourism Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar Wednesday refuted allegations that he had taken his family members along with him on a state-funded tour to Dubai.
