Both countries have decided to aim for finalizing the CEPA upgrading negotiations at the earliest, within 2018 to the extent possible.The issue of gold imports from Korea will also be discussed between both governments within the larger framework of the CEPA, a senior official said under conditions of anonymity. The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) last month notified the withdrawal of the zero-duty import facility for gold, silver, and their coins and articles.
