The first time someone mentioned the price of the InFocus 50-inch Full HD LED TV, I thought that person was joking. How could one sell a 50-inch panel for just Rs 34,999, I asked. They had to cut down on something, I figured.InFocus did cut down on something: The TV's "smartness" quotient. But the TV has a lot to offer. While the design won't win awards, it looks smart and the panel is thin. Switching on, one is met with an easy to understand interface. Because the TV doesn't have an OS, it boots up in a jiffy. High-definition (HD) feed from my TATASky box was rendered well.The remote works well and the sound output is good enough for a medium-sized room. I watched a Blu-ray version of Cars and loved every moment. Next, I connected my hard drive, which had videos in .mkv format.
