Two persons have been arrested for allegedly killing their sister-in-law in southeast Delhi's Badarpur as they considered her responsible for the suicide of their brother, police said today. A 12-year-old deaf and mute girl was allegedly raped in Budhni tehsil of the district today, police said. Shaliendra Chouhan (26), the accused, was arrested within hours of the incident which took place at Machhwai village, said inspector P N Yadav of Shahganj police station. Budhni is the Assembly constituency of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The accused allegedly persuaded the girl to go with him to a secluded area this morning and raped her. When the girl returned home and narrated what had happened through sign language to her parents, a complaint was lodged at Shahganj police station, inspector Yadav said. A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two men from her village in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh, police said today. The incident took place on Wednesday under Tamnar police station limits. The accused identified as Shyamlal Miri (35) and Set Kumar Kurre (28), both married, were arrested yesterday, Station House Officer (SHO) of Tamnar police station S N Singh said. "As per the complaint, the victim, a Class I student of a local government school, was taking bath at a bore-well near her house in the village on July 18 when the accused came there and took her along," the officer said. Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) today declared 20 suspects including former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister as absconders in a Rs 35 billion money laundering case, a media report said today. The FIA submitted challan of the case against a famous banker and Asif Ali Zardari's close aide, Hussain Lawai and other suspects in a court, the Express Tribune reported. Besides the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman and his sister Faryal Talpur, 18 others including chairman of a private bank are also declared absconder in the challan, the report said. The in-laws of flight attendant Anissia Batra, who allegedly committed suicide last week, sought exemption from joining the probe on health grounds, police said. Batra (39) allegedly jumped off the terrace of her residence in south Delhi's Panchsheel Park on July 14. Her husband, Mayank Singhvi, was arrested on charges of dowry death on Monday.
