Ivanka Trump, first daughter and US President's advisor, said that it has always been her dream to become an astronaut and travel to the space as she toured the Johnson Space Center here. Ivanka, who visited the space centre on Thursday where human spaceflight training, research, and flight control are conducted, spoke to the crew of the International Space Station. "You inspire us all. You actually have my dream job," Ivanka, 36, admitted. 'I always wanted to be an astronaut and I always wanted to go to space. You are fulfilling my dream up there," she said. Hanergy installs 418 solar modules in a Netherlands sports stadium

The world's largest thin-film power solution company, Hanergy Thin Film Power Group (00566.hk), on Thursday announced that its US-based subsidiary, finished constructing Europe's biggest flexible modules solar project in Den Bosch, Netherlands.The US subsidiary MiaSole installed 418 lightweight modules on the roof of Maaspoort Sports Center in the city. It has the capacity to produces 125 MHz of clean energy per year.Each module which measured 2.6m * 1m were fitted to the Evalon roof. Govt eases import norms for motor vehicles of certain categories

The government has eased norms for import of 2,500 motor vehicles of certain categories annually, according to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. The decision has been taken by amending the Central Motor Vehicles Rules 1989 in accordance with the powers under Motor Vehicles Act, according to the gazette notification by the ministry. "... In respect of vehicle manufacturer, importing into India unused completely built units or completely knocked down units of right-hand steering control vehicles, directly or through their authorised representative, up to 2500 units of M1 or L category of vehicles, as the case may be, and up to 500 units of other categories of vehicles annually," said the notification. It said the units imported should be compliant with the international standard, namely EEC or ECE or Japanese, and the compliance of such vehicles shall be deemed to be established for sale and registration under rule 47, by a certificate of compliance for the relevant standard

Google Pay sharing payment data with group cos: Paytm to NPCI

India's biggest digital payments company Paytm has flagged concerns over rival Google Pay's privacy policy, saying it allows collection and disclosure of users' personal data with group companies. The Alibaba and SoftBank-backed company also alleged that Google's privacy policy allows the American giant to utilise a user's personal data for advertising and promotional purposes, without any additional consent from the user. "This is a clear disregard for a consumer's need for privacy," Paytm said in a recent letter to the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). As the battle to capture market share in the booming Indian digital payments space intensifies, One97 Communications owned-Paytm has alleged violation of basic privacy norms in the tech titan's policy. Kaspersky expects India to become top mobile consumer market in APEC

Global cyber security firm Kaspersky said it expects India to become the top market in terms of mobile consumers in the Asia Pacific region in the next 5-10 years, driven by a sharp increase in usage of handsets and tablets. From mobile Internet perspective, India is one of the close markets for the company, Stephan Neumeier, Managing Director APAC (Asia Pacific region) Kaspersky Lab told PTI in an interview.
