The service called OASIS (Old Age Support Integrated Services) is an integrated system for the elderly providing 360 degree solutions to their health problems through fall sensors, heart rate sensors, infra-red sensors, motion sensor, radar sensor and pressure sensor, an IIT KGP statement said today. The sensor will be integrated to a 'Complete Sleep Monitoring System' with Android App which can be monitored remotely, the statement said. The health care monitoring services will be available in wearable forms like pedometer or fall sensor, in thermal sensory equipment or radar equipment or an attendance system. Amara Raja Batteries has commissioned the first phase of its Rs 700-crore two-wheeler battery manufacturing facility in Andhra's Chittoor district, making it the largest such facility in the country with 17 million units annual output. The first phase of the plant will have a capacity of 5 million units and which will touch 17 million on completion of the entire project, taking the total capacity for two-wheeler batteries to 29 million units per annum, the company said in a statement today.
