"T'gana turned into Congress ATM," says BRS leader Rama Rao

BRS Working President K T Rama Rao on Friday lashed out at Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, accusing him of turning Telangana into an "ATM of the Congress party", after Reddy's name was mentioned in a chargesheet filed by the ED in a money laundering case. Rama Rao, also known as KTR, claimed that central agencies have now confirmed what BRS has been alleging for months that Telangana's governance is riddled with "corruption and commission deals". The ED has officially exposed Telangana's bagman. Revanth Reddy has been caught influencing donors with political promises. He built a corrupt empire even before taking office. Since becoming the CM, he has expanded it into a multi-thousand crore scam. Those named in the Enforcement Directorate (ED) chargesheet for seeking donations for Young Indian Private Ltd, include Telangana CM and former PCC president Revanth Reddy, late Ahmed Patel and Pawan Bansal. However, none of them have been named as accused in the chargesheet. KTR also slamm

Speculation rife over possible BRS-BJP tie-up, Kavitha writes to KCR

A handwritten feedback letter purportedly written by BRS leader K Kavitha to her father and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, highlighting both the negative and positive aspects of the party's recent meeting, has sparked discussions in Telangana's political circles. Though the authenticity of the letter has not been confirmed, neither Kavitha's office nor that of KCR has commented on it. As you ( KCR) spoke for just two minutes, some people began speculating that there will be a tie-up with BJP in future. Even I personally felt that you should have spoken strongly (against BJP). It might be probably because I suffered (because of BJP). But you should have targeted BJP some more, Daddy, Kavitha mentioned in the letter written in Telugu and English. Despite hours passing since it surfaced, the opposition party has not issued a denial. The BRS celebrated its Silver Jubilee on April 27 in Warangal. Kavitha cited Rao's silence in the meeting on key issues such as 42 per cent .

The Telangana government has issued directives to All India Service (AIS) officers and other government employees emphasising on the need to maintain high standards of professionalism, decorum and integrity in their official capacity and in public gatherings. This comes against the backdrop of a video of state Tribal Welfare secretary A Sharath trying to touch the feet of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at a public meeting in Nagarkurnool district recently going viral, besides other instances of officers engaging in acts and gestures that are not expected of them. In a memo on Tuesday, Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao referred to AIS (conduct) rules which requires the officers to maintain, among others, absolute integrity and behaving in a manner befitting their position. Any violation of the norms would invite disciplinary action, he said.
