US strike on vessel in Caribbean killed 11, targeted Venezuela gang: Trump

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the US has carried out a strike in the southern Caribbean against a drug-carrying vessel that departed from Venezuela and was operated by the Tren de Aragua gang. The president said 11 were killed in the operation. The strike occurred while the terrorists were at sea in International waters transporting illegal narcotics, heading to the United States, Trump said in a social media posting. No US Forces were harmed in this strike. Please let this serve as notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs into the United States of America. US airstrikes targeting the Ras Isa oil port held by Yemen's Houthi rebels killed 20 people and wounded 50 others, the group said early Friday. The United States and Britain struck at least 30 Houthi targets in Yemen on Saturday in a second wave of assaults meant to further disable Iran-backed groups that have relentlessly attacked American and international interests in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war, US officials told The Associated Press. The latest strikes against the Houthis were launched by ships and fighter jets.
