Naxalites frustrated as govt has intensified fight against them: CM Sai

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday said Naxalites have become frustrated as the Bharatiya Janata Party's "double engine" government has intensified the fight against the Naxal menace. He was talking to reporters after paying homage to the three personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) who lost their lives in an encounter with Naxalites along the border of Sukma and Bijapur districts of the state on Tuesday. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convey that there is joy in Lord Ram's maternal home Chhattisgarh over the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, and said his government will ensure prompt implementation of central schemes meant for tribals to fulfil the ideal of 'Ram Rajya'. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday said the state cabinet will be expanded soon and it will comprise both old and new faces. He was talking to reporters at the Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur after returning from New Delhi. Sai took oath as the state's chief minister on December 13. "Yesterday evening I went to Delhi.
