All about Pathfinder, India’s first orbital data centre being built by Pixxel and Sarvam

India is set to build its first orbital data centre satellite, with Pixxel and Sarvam announcing the ‘Pathfinder’ mission that will process data directly in space. Unlike conventional satellites that transmit raw data back to Earth for processing, the Pathfinder aims to analyse information directly in space. The satellite is expected to be launched by the end of 2026.
