New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on February 24 informed that cabinet has approved Production Linked Incentive Scheme for IT Hardware. Target segments include laptops, tablets, all-in-one PCs and servers. "Scheme which was announced in April during the height of COVID-19 delivered production worth Rs 35,000 crores, created 22,500 jobs and brought around Rs 1,300 investment," said RS Prasad.
New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar during a press briefing on February 24 informed that people above 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age with comorbidities will start getting vaccinated against COVID-19 from March 01, while adding that vaccination at government centres will be free, but those getting vaccinated at private centres will have to pay. "The amount they would need to pay will be decided by the health ministry within 2-3 days as they are in discussion with manufacturers and hospitals," he added. The vaccination will start from March 01 at 10,000 government and over 20,000 private vaccination centres.

New Delhi, Feb 23 (ANI): Union Health Ministry secretary Rajesh Bhushan informed that over 1 .17 crore vaccine doses have been administrated. Of this, 1.04 crore include first doses while 12.61 lakh second doses. Bhushan further informed that active cases in the country are less than 1.50 lakh. On the positivity and death rate due to COVID-19, Rajesh Bhushan said, "If you look at average of deaths taking place daily, it was 92 last week- trend of less than 100 deaths. New Delhi, Feb 23 (ANI): Android 12 has rolled out a new feature titled 'Nearby Share' that will help a user to share a Wi-Fi password. The feature has gone live in the Android 12 developer beta, which has recently become available to download, Mashable quoted a report by Android Police and XDADevelopers' Mishaal Rahman. To do it, open Settings, a user needs to go to Wi-Fi, select the network one wants, and tap 'Share'. One will get the option to share the network via a QR code or through Nearby Share. If a user chooses the latter, the phone will look for nearby devices, and the person on the other device will get a notification, asking them to accept the share. The password will not be displayed for security reasons, but should the receiver accept the share, they will then be able to connect to the Wi-Fi network.
