Sydney (Australia), Jan 10 (ANI): Indian cricket team Vice Captain Rohit Sharma on Thursday called former Indian Cricket Team captain MS Dhoni as 'guiding light' and talking about his presence in the team, he said that Dhoni's presence brings calmness around the group. He said, "Over the years we've seen the kind of presence he has in dressing room and on field. With him being around, there's calmness around the group, it's also a bit of a help to the captain, he is like a guiding light. He has finished so many games for us, that role he plays is very important in terms of his batting. His calmness, his advice is very important. So, things he does bring a lot on the table for us and his presence around the group is a massive factor for us."

Gymnast Dipa Karmakar along with coach Bisweshwar Nandi meets CM Biplab Deb

Agartala (Tripura), Jan 02 (ANI): Indian gymnast Dipa Karmakar along with her coach Bisweshwar Nandi met Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in Agartala. She was also accompanied by her father Dulal Karmakar. This is her first meeting with the CM after she returned with a bronze medal at the vault event on the third day of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Cottbus, Germany, held in November last year. Dipa gifted CM Deb with a book written on her. Dipa was the first woman Indian gymnast who got selected for the Olympics and had finished fourth at the Rio Olympics. After her meeting with the CM she said that her lone target is to get selected for the coming 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
