Bangkok (Thailand), Nov 04 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi among other leaders took a group picture at the third Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) summit in Bangkok. Prime Minister would be steering India's negotiations at RCEP summit. RCEP is a comprehensive free trade agreement being negotiated between the 10 ASEAN Member States and ASEAN's free trade agreement partners Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea and New Zealand. Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership negotiations which began in Cambodia in 2012 covers areas, including trade in goods and services, market access, economic cooperation, investment, intellectual property and e-commerce. PM Modi is currently on a 3-day visit to Thailand.
Kathmandu (Nepal), Nov 04 (ANI): Toll in the bus accident in Nepal's Sindhupalchowk district on Sunday rose to 16 after more bodies were recovered during the search and rescue operations. The incident occurred at around 1 pm (local time) when the bus, en route to Kathmandu from Maga Deurali area of Dolakha village, skidded off Araniko highway and plunged into the Sunkoshi river. Several people were injured in the incident and were rushed to Sadabahar Hospital and Primary Health Care Centre in Dolalghat village for treatment. The bus was carrying 34 passengers at the time of the incident. The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.

Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Nov 03 (ANI): Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on November 03 attended the curtain raiser event of the first Indo-Uzbek Joint Exercise named 'Dustlik-2019' at the Armed Forces in Tashkent. The Defence Minister and his Uzbek counterpart jointly presided over the 'curtain raiser' of the first-ever India-Uzbekistan Joint Exercise. The exercise will be conducted from November 4-13 at Chirchiq Training Area near Tashkent and will be focused on counter-terrorism, an area in which the two countries share a common concern. Imphal East (Manipur), Nov 03 (ANI): Three personnel of 120 BSF sustained injuries after a bomb blast at a Chhath Puja pandal in Manipur in the night of November 02. The incident happened near Telipati at Imphal East. BSF personnel were taken to a nearby hospital. Further investigation is underway. Meanwhile, locals sat on 'peace protest' to condemn the bomb blast during the festival.

Mumabi, Nov 03 (ANI): Amid the power tussle in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said they have support of more than 170 MLAs and the figure could even reach 175. The Shiv Sena has been saying that there was a 50-50 power-sharing agreement between the two parties but Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that the party's ally was not promised chief minister's post for two-and-a-half years when the alliance was finalised before 2019 Lok Sabha polls.The BJP-Shiv Sena alliance won an absolute majority in the Maharashtra assembly polls with the former emerging as the single largest party in the state with 105 seats. The Shiv Sena bagged 56 seats in the elections. On the other side, NCP won 54 seats in the assembly while the Congress won 44 seats in the 288-member assembly.
