Firecracker ban: Vodafone gifting Delhi users tulsi, soy seed crackers

In the Diwali gift pack, Vodafone is giving eco-friendly water soluble papers in the form of cracker carrying soya or tulsi plant seeds

Telecom operator is gifting 'eco-friendly' crackers containing soya or tulsi plant seeds to customers visiting its stores in

"As a part of these 'Super Celebrations', we are happy to announce the Green Diwali Campaign which aims to give our customers a great experience this Diwali," India and NCR Business head Alok Verma said in a statement.

"Our specially designed eco-friendly crackers contain air purifying plant seeds that will bring about a change in the pollution levels of the city leading to a safer and healthier atmosphere for everyone," Verma added.

In the gift pack, the company is giving 'super crackers' which are eco-friendly water soluble papers in form of cracker that carry soya or tulsi plant seeds.

"The eco-friendly crackers will be available at all our stores giving our customers the opportunity to celebrate Green Diwali and be a part of the great awareness campaign against air pollution," Verma said.

Also, customers visiting stores will be able to design personalised GIF greetings that they can send to friends and family through social media.
