Jim Carrey condemns own movie 'Kick-Ass 2' for on-screen violence

Jim Carrey has revealed that he has decided to withdraw his support for 'Kick-Ass 2' in the wake of the Sandy Hook massacre.
Carrey tweeted on Sunday saying that he can't stand behind the violence in his upcoming movie, the BBC reported.
The 51-year-old apologised to people involved with the film, saying that he is not ashamed of his decision.
He said that recent events have caused a change in his heart.
