CM condoles death of 7 workers in textile dyeing unit

: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today condoled the death of seven workers, who lost their lives due to asphyxiation in a dyeing unit tank in Erode.

"I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved family members", she said in a statement here.

Seven workers died of asphyxiation and nine others were taken ill yesterday after inhaling toxic gas in a tank containing untreated effluents at a textile dyeing factory at Perundurai near Erode.
