A 22-year-old mobile tower guard was found dead with burn injuries in Kachiyana area under Kotwali city police station area here, police said.
Body of Mohammad Ikrar with burn injuries was spotted by the locals this morning and they informed the police.
Superintendent of Police Jogendra Kumar, who rushed to the spot, said that the body has been sent for post mortem examination and his family members in Lakhimpur have been informed.
A case has been registered and investigations handed over to the crime branch, the SP added.
