Acc Q1 Net Slips 55% To Rs 19.8 Crore

Profits at the Associated Cement Companies (ACC) have plunged 54.85 per cent for the quarter-ended June 30, 2002. Profits after current tax, deferred tax and exceptional items fell to Rs 19.84 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2002, from Rs 43.95 crore for the corresponding period of the previous year.
