Ashok Leyland reports 11.3% rise in sales

Owned by the Hinduja Group and India's second largest commercial vehicle maker, Ashok Leyland has reported 11.3 per cent increase in its July sales over the same month last year.
The company had sold 6202 vehicles in July 2008 as against 5574 in July 2007. Domestic sales was up by 9.3 per cent during the month and export increased by 30 per cent to 700 vehicles in July 2008.
