Ashok Leyland sales up 61% at 14,771 units in September

Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland today reported 60.81% increase in total sales at 14,771 units in September as against 9,185 units for the same month last year.
The sales of heavy and medium commercial vehicles jumped 83.15% to 12,134 units in September this year as against 6,625 units in the year-ago period, the company said in a BSE filing.
Light commercial vehicles sales rose by 3% to 2,637 units this year as compared to 2,560 units in September 2014.
