Blue Star Q1 profit rises 110%

Air conditioner maker Blue Star posted 110 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 20.54 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared with Rs 9.79 crore in the corresponding period last year. Net income of the company, however, increased 3.89 per cent to Rs 731.42 crore, from Rs 704.03 crore a year ago.
