Development Credit Bank (DCB) clocked a net profit Rs 8.1 crore for the the third quarter ended December 2010, compared to a loss of Rs 18 crore in the same quarter in the previous fiscal.
The total income of the bank increased by 23 per cent at Rs 166.2 crore, as against Rs 134.7 crore in the year-ago period, DCB informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
For the nine months ended December 2010, DCB's net profit rose to Rs 10 crore compared to a loss of Rs 70.2 crore in the same period a year ago.
