DSP surpasses annual performance

Durgapur Steel Plant has recorded a production of hot metal at 1.85 lakh tonnes and saleable steel at 1.60 lakh tonnes was 100% of annual performance targets and it registered a growth of 2% and 9% over April, 2011 respectively. The Plant has made despatch of 1.48 lakh tonnes of saleable steel which has been the best ever April despatch performance.
