Essar Hypermart launches 100th outlet in India

Essar Hypermart, India’s first steel retail chain by Essar Steel, launched its hundredth outlet in India, at Ranchi today. With this launch, Essar Hypermart now has 100 hypermarts and 419 expressmarts across India. Currently the Hypermarts' sale accounts for 25 per cent of Essar Steel’s annual revenues. But its contribution is set to rise. As, the company plans to increase the number of hypermarts and expressmarts to 126 and 650 respectively, across India by March next year.
