IT services and products firm Geometric reported net profit of Rs 16.6 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013 slipped by 6.7 per cent from Rs 17.8 crore in the same quarter last year.
Revenue for the quarter grew 9.5 per cent at Rs 286.5 crore from Rs 261.5 crore in the corresponding year last year.
On a sequential basis the company’s net profit was up 7.8 per cent from Rs 15.4 crore—and revenue grew 10.1 per cent.
Manu Parpia, Managing Director & CEO, Geometric said, “While our expectations from FY14 continue to be flat, we are seeing an increase in our pipeline by 30 per cent Q-o-Q. We are positioning ourselves for scalable growth in FY15.”
